Kangana Ranaut has accused a CISF woman constable at Chandigarh airport of slapping her. She has lodged a complaint and demanded the constable’s removal and disciplinary action.
The incident, as per reports appearing in multiple media outlets, occured on Thursday at 3:30 pm when Kangana was passing through airport security.
The constable, identified as Kulvinder, allegedly slapped her due to anger over Kangana’s statements during the farmers’ protest after which Kulvider has been detained for questioning while Kangana has left for Delhi.
DSP Airport Kuljinder Singh mentioned that while there is no formal complaint of slapping yet. “The CISF is investigating the matter,” he said.
As per reports, the incident of slapping is related to the farmers’ protest.
During the farmers agitation which lasted for over one year, Kangana had made several defamatory remarks against the farmers. In one of her tweet, she claimed that the elderly woman known as the “Shaheen Bagh Dadi” had also participated in the farmers’ protest against the new farm laws at different border points in the national capital.
She shared images of two senior women, one of whom was identified as Bilkis Bano, and commented that the “same Dadi” who had been featured in Time Magazine was “now available for 100 rupees.”
