The Jammu Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a cople in Qazigund for peddling drugs.
They said that a couple was arrested during a patrolling at Mirbazar area and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
The accused has been identified as Sabzar Ahmad Rather @Raja, a resident of Mallipora Devsar in Kulgam District, the Police said, adding that 10 kilograms of poppy straw has been from their possession.
The Police has registered a case under FIR NO 02/2019 and initiated investigations in the matter.
