
Police on Monday started a drive to check vaccinated shopkeepers by checking their vaccination certificate in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
In a statement to GNS, the police said that to enforce Covid Appropriate Behavior (CAB) in the District, today Baramulla Police under the supervision of Junaid Wali-JKPS, SDPO Uri assisted by Inspr. Mohd Ashraf, SHO Police station Uri and Inspector Amardeep Parihar, SHO Police station Bijhama conducted a drive in some market areas and checked vaccination certificates of shopkeepers and shoppers in markets.
Joint teams of police, administration and health officials shall undertake this checking daily and people are requested to carry their vaccination certificates with them whether 1st or both doses taken, they said.
Baramulla Police requests that all measures as undertaken and briefed, may be extended support and cooperation, they said.
