Nine students and one staff member have tested positive for the coronavirus in the Industrial Training Institute in the Tral area of Pulwama in South Kashmir.
Mohammed Younis, the in-charge official speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that during sampling of the staff members and the students, ten have been found positive for Covid 19 on Wednesday.
He said that the institute was maintaining the covid SOPs but despite that, the students and teachers being tested positive is a sign of alarm.
Meanwhile, The Kashmiriyat spoke to the principal of the institute who said that the institute has decided to shut down functioning for five days till Sunday.
