BJP MP from Gujarat Liladher Vaghela suffered broken ribs and has been admitted to the ICU of Apollo Hospital after a stray cow attacked him.
Reportedly, the Lok Sabha MP from Patan was out for a walk when the cow attacked him outside his residence in Gandhinagar.
The 83-year-old MP is said to be critical after he sustained head injuries, in addition to broken ribs.
Prior to being elected to Parliament, Vaghela had served as a cabinet minister in Gujarat.
He is a member of the Standing Committee on Water Resources, Consultative Committeeof the Ministry of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and Sanitation and Railway Convention Committee.
