The 14th Battalion CRPF today Organised a massive and splendid Sports event at Shopian on National Sports day at Boys Higher Secondary Shopian.
300 Players From Different Areas Of Shopian participated In the Sqay Martial Art Event to spread the importance of Sqay Martial Art.
A number of sports events were also organised on the occasion for different age categories for boys and girls Skye Martial Arts.
The participants said that Sqay Martial Art is a game of Self defense and it keeps players physically and mentally Fit.
The aim of the event was to motivate the students towards the importance of sports and to highlight the importance of sports in day to day life of students.
The event was attended by large numbers of children and locals of Shopian district.
On the occasion, Commandant Officer 14th Battalion CRPF Vishal Kandwal paid warm thanks to the players and Applauded the students for their efforts and encouraged them to participate in sports at all levels for their overall development.
Meanwhile, he added that, the motive of CRPF is to engage more youths in different types of sports so that the Youth will experience the pleasure of sports and will involve themselves in sports and Will Not indulge in illegal activities.
