CRPF Bunker Attacked by Suspected Militants in Srinagar

Suspected Militants hurled a grenade towards Government Forces in the Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar on Thursday night.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a bunker of 161 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force was attacked by suspected Militants in the Bari Pora area of Nawakadal with a grenade.

They said that the grenade exploded  at some distance far from the bunker, adding, “No injuries have been reported from the incident as of yet.”

A Police party from the nearby Police station has reached the spot to ascertain the details of the incident, an official said.
