A Sub Inspector of Central Reserve Police Force died of a cardiac arrest in Sallar area of Pahalgam in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district on Sunday afternoon.
A CRPF Official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat confirmed that 55 year old Sub Inspector identified as Ram Bharat Singh, posted with 134 Batlion of CRPF in Salar area met a heart attack during his duty, after which he was rushed to the hospital.
He, however, breathed his last, on the way to the hospital, the official said, His body has been taken to District Hospital of Islamabad (Anantnag) for autopsy.
