CRPF trooper dies of suspected heart attack in south Kashmir

A paramilitary trooper died of suspected heart attack at training centre in Lethpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

Official sources told Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that one head constable identified as K Vithal of 110 battalion of CRPF, a resident of Maharashtra suddenly fell down inside training centre at Lethpora.

He was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital in Srinagar, where doctors declared him as brought dead, they said adding that the body of the trooper was sent for post-mortem.

The doctors suspected that the trooper died of a heart attack.

A CRPF official confirmed the death of the trooper and said his body will be sent to his hometown after completing medico-legal formalities. (KDC)
