A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Shopian.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday, a CRPF trooper posted with 178BN in Reshipora area of Zainapora area of Shopian shot himself.
The trooper was rushed to the hospital, however, he had died upon his arrival at the hospital.
They said that an autopsy is being conducted on the dead body and the police have taken cognisance of the matter.
