CRPF vehicle falls into gorge in Doodhpathri Budgam, several personnel injured

A CRPF vehicle met with an accident at Tangnar area of Doodhpathri in Khansahib tehsil of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, officials said.

Official sources told the news agency JKNS that the vehicle, whose registration number is not yet known, skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.

“Some CRPF personnel have reportedly sustained injuries in the accident,” the official said, adding that rescue operation was launched soon after the incident.

They said, the exact number of injured personnel and their condition was not immediately known.—(JKNS)
