A Strict curfew has been re imposed in the Pulwama township of South Kashmir on Monday as a ‘preventive’ measure to thwart any kind of protest in the area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces in large numbers reached the township early morning on Monday and made the curfew announcements through loudspeakers asking people not to come out of their houses.
The Curfew has been imposed for the second consecutive day after seven civilians and three Militants were killed in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

Intense clashes had erupted on Sunday after the body of a slain Militant commander was buried, clashes had also erupted in Prichoo when curfew was lifted from the area late evening on Sunday.
