The daily wagers of the Power Development Department (PDD) called a peaceful protest in Srinagar outside the Office of the Chief Engineer and protested against the Department for its failure in regularizing their services.
The workers, are on agitation today in Srinagar for their demands of regularization and release of their pending wages.
They were shouting slogans in support of their demands and also against the LG Administration. They urged to take immediate steps for regularization of daily wagers up to 2005 and regularization of DWs up to date in PDD.
