Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Dr. Piyush Singla today constituted attendance monitoring squads headed by Assisstant Commissioner Revenue and respective Sub divisional Magistrates. The squads inspected various public offices in the district and forwarded the reports of absentee officials to the Deputy Commissioner.
Taking cognisance of the absenteeism, the DC ordered deduction of one day salary from the absentee officials cautioning for ensuring cent percent attendance in all public offices across the district. He said the absenteeism will not be tolerated adding that discipline and punctuality will be enforced in the district for timely completion of development projects and delivery of public services.
The DC asked the sectoral officers to strictly monitor the attendance of subordinate officials and establishments so that the public do not face any kind of inconvenience in receiving notified public services on time.
