The District Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, today, inaugurated 1000 LPM oxygen plant, at District Hospital Kulgam.
The Kulgam’s Medical Superintendent was also present at the event.
On the occasion, the DC said that the demand for oxygen had increased because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and thus, it had become a challenge to ensure supply as per the demand. He said that the plant with the capacity of 1000 LPM production of oxygen would meet the demand of oxygen.
Later, the DC conducted an inspection of Kulgam town to see the implementation of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The DC during the visit was accompanied by SSP Kulgam Gurinderpal Singh, Tehsildar Kulgam, DYSP HQ, SHO and other officers.
