The District Development Commissioner Anantnag K.K.Sidha (Chairman District Level Task Force Committee) for J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme today held a thorough interaction cum counseling session in DIC Ang. individually with each of the prospective entrepreneurs who had applied for financial assistance during B2V3 etc in the district.
As per a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat by District Information officer, The meeting was attended by the members of the DLTFC for JKREGP.
While interacting with the applicants, the DDC enquired about their educational backgrounds, skills, expertise and experiences etc. He assured them full support to channelize their energies towards positive and productive activities as per their skills and interests so that they get profitable employment and generate it for others as well.
Sidha stressed upon the concerned authorities to work in close collaboration with the line departments like animal husbandry, sheep husbandry, industries, etc to ensure proper financial assistance, guidance, counseling, and handholding of these prospective entrepreneurs so that their business units are viable and sustainable.
The applicants have sought financial assistance to start their ventures in diverse fields like Dairying, Sheep Husbandry, Grocery Stores, Tailoring, Restaurants, Shattering, vehicle Service Stations etc.
Importantly, many women have also applied for loan facilities to start their business units, the press release read.
