The District Development Commissioner of Islamabad (Anantnag) District Mohammad Younis Malik on Minday along with Director General Youth Services & Sports JK Dr Saleem ul Rehman inaugurated Divisional Level Inter District Cricket Tournament at Government Higher Secondary School Bijbehara Anantnag.
Nine teams from different districts of the valley are participating in the said tournament starting from 24/ 09/2018 to 02/10/2018. The inaugural mach was played between Islamabad and Kupwara cricket teams at cricket ground Government Higher Secondary School Bijbehara.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC praised the talent of the youth including both boys and girls and said they can prove their talent at National and International levels but the need of the hour is to harness their talent and provide them the right platform.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K Dr Saleem ul Rehman said that youth Hostels will be constructed in all the districts if the state in near future for the development of the sports culture in the state.
