The District Development Commissioner (DDC) for District Islamabad (Anantnag), Mohammad Younis Malik on Monday inaugurated sports tournaments in the District.
The DDC as per a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat inaugurated an under-19 tense ball cricket tournament & Inter- zonal under-17 tense cricket tournament at sports stadium of the South Kashmir township, Islamabad.
The tournaments are being organized by the District Youth Services & Sports.
The programme is a part of a youth engagement programmes in various activities like sports, cultural activities, painting competitions, Drama, theater plays, village parliaments, seminars and symposiums.
Mohammed Younis Malik emphasizing upon the youth to make platforms at village levels for roping themselves asked them to show their existence as village level ambassadors at grass root level and to submit feedback to the district administration regarding the problems being faced by the villagers.
