
2nd playfield inaugurated in last 10 days in the district

The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today inaugurated a playfield at Panchayat Halqa Ashmuji ‘A’, Mirpora.
This is a maiden playfield in the village and has been constructed and developed by the Rural Development Department with an estimated cost of Rs. 20 lac.
The demand for playfield was registered by people during the weekly Block Diwas held at Kulgam.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that playfields and Sports infrastructure is being developed in every panchayat, and out of 178 panchayats, playfields have been developed in 138 panchayats already.
He added that last week a playfield was also inaugurated at Liroo village
ACR, ACD, BDO Qaimoh, and other officers besides scores of people and players were present at the inaugural function.
