A dead body was recovered by police from an orchard in Dangam area of Shopain district on Friday morning.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that the dead body was identified to be that of a missing Panch from Khonmoh area.
He has been identified the Panch as Nisar Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Khonmoh area.
The family had lodged a missing report with Jammu Kashmir police. They had alleged that Bhat left for Shopian on August 19 and had been missing since then.
