The dead body a youth from Bandipora was found in Gamroo area of Bandipora in north Kashmir.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday morning, locals spotted a body near the bridge in Gamroo, following which they informed the police.
The Police took the body in their possession and after investigation the deceased was identified as Junaid Ahmad Baba from Bagh Bandipora.
Police have registered a case in this regard and started further investigation, they said.
