A dead body was recovered from Nallah Sindh at the Sumbal area of Kangan belt in central Kashmiri’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday morning.
According to police officials, an unidentified dead body was recovered from Nallah Sindh at the Sumbal area which is under the jurisdiction of Police station Gund.
Talking to The Kashmiriyat, the police officials said, “some passerby’s spotted a dead body floating on Nallah Sindh and immediately informed us”.

Upon receiving the information, the police team rushed to the spot and fished out the body from Nallah with the help of locals, however, the identity of the body is yet to be ascertained.
“The body has been kept in a Local mortuary for now, and a case under relevant sections of law has also been registered in this regard,” the official said.
