Spokesperson of central university of Kashmir, Nadiya Rasheed had organised a peaceful protest at press enclave Srinagar on Saturday demanding the university to waive off their admission fee.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, Nadiya said, “the economy has been crushed due to covid 19, and we are unable to pay the fee”.
“I am not alone here, I represent all the departments of Central university of Kashmir, our university has already mentioned the deadline of fee on 28th July,” she said.
“At least, the authorities should waive off 60% of the fee,” she added.
The protesting spokesperson of Central University of Kashmir appealed Governor led administration to look into matter and waive off their admission fee as early as possible.
