Demanding Release of Political Prisoners, Yasin Malik Arrested in Srinagar

The chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik led a protest rally in Srinagar demanding “immediate release of political prisoners”.

Scores of pro Freedom activists led by Malik assembled at Abi Guzar in Srinagar and chanted pro Freedom slogans and demanded the release of political prisoners.

He urged the united nation human rights commission to ask India for the release of all political prisoners.

The protesters later tried to march towards Lal Chowk after which police detained Yasin Malik and other activists and shifted them to Kothi Bagh police station.
