Despite growing encounters and repeated verbal attempts of the Army and Director General of Jammu Kashmir Police, Militancy is showing no signs of declination.

Though Militancy is growing swiftly as more local youth are picking up arms to strengthen the Militant ranks, Figures available to The Kashmiriyat suggest that at least 156 Local youth have picked up arms this year.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that another youth identified as Ishfaq Rashid Khan son of Abdul Rashid Khan is the latest one to join Militants.
The 27 year old Ishfaq who is a resident of Sozith area in Narbal of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district has joined the Militant outfit Lashkar e Taiba.
