Intense Clashes have erupted between protesters and government forces erupted in the Warpora area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that hundreds of protesters including women assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded to intense tear smoke shelling.
Announcements are being made on loudspeakers in the mosques asking others to come out, a local told The Kashmiriyat.

People in large numbers from adjacent areas shouting pro independence and pro Militancy slogans are trying marching towards the encounter site.
Meanwhile Train services have been suspended in the South Kashmir region.
