Detaining of Vehicles in Srinagar- Magistrate Gives 10 Days time to Police to Submit Report

Regarding the detaining of two wheelers in Srinagar, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar directed SSP Srinagar to call for a report from all police stations of Srinagar district.

The Kashmiriyat accessed the order by the Additional Mobile Magistrate Srinagar in response to a plea filed by Social activist Naveed Buhtiyar, the Addl. Special Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar regarding the detaining of two wheelers by J&K police in Srinagar.

The applicant had filed the application through Advocate Malik Aadil and associates, in which applicant has pleaded that the illegal action has caused humiliation and agony among people.

The additional Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar, Shabir Ahmad Malik has ordered and directed SSP Srinagar to call the report from all police stations within the district Srinagar regarding the issue (Supra).

SSP has been further directed to submit the compliance report before the court within a period of ten days.
