In a devastating incident during the night hours, a fire broke out at a double-storey residential house in Khamyar Pattan village of Baramulla district in North Kashmir.
The immediate response from fire tenders, locals, and the police helped contain the flames, preventing further spread, locals told The Kashmiriyat.
The unfortunate incident resulted in partial damage to the residential house owned by Mohammed Ramzan Dar, son of Mohd Asadullah Dar.
Tragically, Adil Mohd, 26 years old and son of the householder, Mohd Ramzan Dar, lost his life in the fire.
Adil was reportedly asleep on the second storey, and the door was locked from the inside. Locals broke down the door to rescue him.
