Dilapidated Roads, Unavailability of Drinking Water irks Razloo Kund Residents

Dilapidated road of Razloo area in Kund of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district has irked the commuters and the pedestrians as the authorities have failed to macadamize the roads despite assurances.

Inhabitants living in the areas as well the commuters passing through the roads while speaking to The Kashmiriyat have demanded immediate readdressal of their genuine grievances.

Locals while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that the roads in the residents have been assured macadamized Roads several times but the authorities have failed to macadamize road for the past eight Years.

The locals said that the officials do not pay any heed over it thereby leaving the commuters as well as the pedestrians to suffer.

Claiming the failure of officials they said, “We again urged the officials to take initiate and step up to resolve our problems.”

Due to pathetic condition of the road, students, employees and also patients face immense hardships to reach their respective destinations, they said.

“The residents said they have to travel long distances to obtain potable water, They also face over water shortage, ” a local told The Kashmiriyat.

“ It is very unfortunate that in the present age of technology where the people now think of higher standards, we are being deprived of the basic amenities of life,” a local said.
