The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Kulgam on Thursday organized District Level INSPIRE Science Model Exhibition and project competition at Kulgam.
In the training 28 Science models prepared by the students of different schools of District Kulgam were presented, ADC Kulgam, Mr. Ghulam Hassan Shiekh was the Chief Guest on this occasion.
While interacting with the students, he said that these type of programmes will help in attracting the students towards the Science
Mr Sabzar Ahmad, from Department of Science and Technology, University of Kashmir who was the Guest of Honor on the occasion said that it is the need of the hour to develop scientific temperament in the students.
He said that the conduct of these type of programmes is very appreciable step by the Department.

Later on CEO/ DIET Principal Kulgam, stressed upon the students to make use of every opportunity for development of scientific temperament.
The models were evaluated by a jury of three members and one observer from department of Science and technology. At the end, prize distribution ceremony for the District Level Science Exhibition was held in which CEO/Principal DIET Kulgam Mr Vijay Kumar Bhagat threw light on
the purpose of the organizing the event and distributed prizes among the students.
The programme was coordinated by Mr Parvaiz Hussain Bhat, DNO Kulgam.
Logistic support to the programme was provided by Nisar Ahmad Sheikh, dr Younis Iqbal, Gulzar Ahmad, Yograj, Fayaz Ahmad, Mohmmed Hussain and others.
