Fayaz Ahmad wani son of Mohammad Ahsan wani who was working at a private clinic in Pulwama town was asked by his parents not to go Pulwama today as search operation is going on everywhere.
As search operation was going many locals had assembled on road and everything was going normal however suddenly army vehicles came rushing in the area and they were stoned by some youth post which they fired upon the people who had assembled there resulting in critical injuries to Fayaz, eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat.
They said that he was rushed to district hospital Pulwama and from where he was referred to SMHS where doctors declared him brought dead.
“He was half dead here when he was hit by bullet and at Pulwama hospital he was almost dead as he lost most of blood on way to hospital,” one of his friends told The Kashmiriyat.
“Fayaz saw the Army vehicles rushing towards people and when they started firing, he pleaded, “I am going for work do not shoot me, Please. Fayaz was a pious, down to earth and very charactered person,” he said.
Belonging to a Middle class family, Fayaz has left behind 2 brothers and two sisters besides parents.
Pertinently a massive search operation was launched by government forces in several villages of Pulwama district in wee hours of Monday.
Official sources Said that 44 RR, 55 RR, 53 RR, 182 ,183 Bn CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched search operation in over one dozen villages of Pulwama district on receiving special inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

During search operation clashes erupted at many places including Murran, bellow and Gusoo resulting in injuries several persons among them one succumbed.
Notably locals from Murran area alleged that they were beaten by forces during search operation.
They thrashed every one whosoever came in their way and even children were not spared, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
Soon after the news of killing of youth spread Pulwama area, spontaneous shutdown was observed in the area. While as train services from srinagar to Banihal were also suspended.
Thousands of people participated in funeral prayer of slain Fayaz who was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard at chewakalan amid pro freedom and pro Islam slogans. (The Kashmiriyat)
