Traffic Police Srinagar have seized a motorcycle and fined its female rider after a video surfaced showing her performing stunts without a helmet in the city for the second time.

The viral clip, reportedly shot in Srinagar, shows the woman riding without a helmet, releasing her hands from the handlebars, and making gestures while on the move.

“The rider, does not possess a valid driving licence. She has been summoned and challaned by the Police,” a traffic Police official said.

The girl has a history of performing such stunts on the bike for engagement farming on social media where Kashmiris praise her riding skills and follow her in huge numbers.

Earlier in August, her video has gone viral showing her violating traffic rules in August 2023, after which she apologized and deleted the video from her social media handles.

In a separate incident, a video from Mallabagh, Srinagar, showed a group of underage boys performing bike stunts.

Acting on the footage, Traffic Police summoned the minors and their parents to the Traffic Police Headquarters, where they were counselled by DSP Traffic Mehboob.

The officer warned that underage driving is strictly prohibited and urged parents to prevent their children from engaging in such dangerous activities, adding that strict action would be taken against violators.
