Drug Peddler Arrested by Police in Pulwama

The Jammu Kashmir Police claimed to have arrested a drug peddler from Lassipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.

The Police said that, a team headed by SHO Litter and SDPO Litter arrested a drug peddler at Lassipora area and recovered 96 kilograms of poppy straw from his possession.

He said that One load carrier was also seized from the alleged drug peddler.

“A case FIR number 38/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation taken up,” the spokesperson added.
