The Jammu Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have recovered drugs worth Rs 25 Cr along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector.
Addressing a press conference, Rayees Ahmad Bhat, SSP Baramulla credited this successful operation to alert troops posted at LoC who succeeded in foiling the attempt to pump in illegal drugs into Kashmir from across the border.
He said the investigations into the matter have been started and police is likely to crack the module involved in the illegal drug trafficking in the district.
