A Cordon and Search Operation has been launched in the Soaf Shali of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anamtnag) District on Saturday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces including 19 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a joint Anti Militancy operation in the area following specific input about Militant presence in the Soaf Shali area.
Locals said that a heavy contingent of Forces have reached the area and are conducting a search operation in the area.
The search operation was going on when this report was filed.
