Continuing their intensified Anti Militancy Operations, the Government Forces on Saturday morning launched a search operation in Shiganpora Kulgam and Poshkar area of Budgam.
Sealing all the entry and exit points, the RR, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF launched a search operation in Shiganpora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
While the RR and CRPF with Jammu Kashmir Police launched another search operation in Poshker area of Bandipora district in North Kashmir.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that the search operations were launched following a specific input regarding militant movement in the area.
As this report was filed, the search operations at both the areas were good on.
Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched as an Anti Militancy operation on May 2, 2017 amid a rise in the local recruitment into Militant groups in the Kashmir valley.
The Forces jointly conduct search operations in a specific area, locking down the area virtually and frisk houses on will.
