An encounter has broken out in Ishbar area of Nishat in Srinagar district of central Kashmir.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday morning an encounter broke out between militants and government forces in the Ishbar area of Srinagar district.
The encounter, reports said, begun when government forces came under heavy fire from the side of militants, to which the forces retaliated.
As per locals, a massive exchange of gunfire is underway at the site of the encounter.
Pertinently, last week on Friday, one Laskar e Taiba militant had been killed during an encounter at Khanyar area of the city.
