Eight Laborers Injured After Tempo Turns Turtle In Kangan

At least eight laborers were injured after a Tempo, they were traveling in, turned turtle at Margund area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

An official told  The Kashmiriyat that a Tempo was traveling from Sonamarg to Srinagar when it turned turtle at Margund, leaving eight passengers injured.

He said that the injured were rushed to sub-district hospital Kangan for treatment, from where two of them were referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.

The official identified the injured as Ghulam Abass Nalvi (driver), Imtiaz Ahmad, Nawaz Ahmad, Tanveer Ahmed, Idrees Ahmed, Shakeel Ahmed, Mohammad Shafi and Mohammad Iqbal, all residents of Doda.

The official said that Police have registered a case in this regard.
