Elderly woman’s body found in Nawakadal Srinagar

Body of an elderly woman was recovered from Jhelum river near Nawakadal here on Thursday.

Officials told GNS that some passersby spotted the body and subsequently informed police. Later, they said, a police team recovered the body.

A police official told GNS that identity of the woman is being ascertained.-(GNS)
