
Eleven days after going missing, the dead body of the seventh victim in Srinagar boat tragedy has been found.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that the body of a young child was found floating in the Jhelum river near Rajbagh in Srinagar.
They said that the body has been handed over to the Police who have taken it for medico-legal formalities.
“The body has not been identified as of yet, however, the body recovered is that of a young child,” said locals.
Earlier on April 16, a boat carrying 19 persons capsized in Srinagar:s Gandbal area when it was crossing Jhelum river, six persons died in the incident, while ten were rescued.
Officials and locals have been on massive searches since then to locate the three missing persons.
