An encounter has broken out between the security forces and the militants on Thursday at Chanapora area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
The Kashmir Police tweeted from its official handle and informed that the encounter has started and that the police and the security forces were on task to nab the militants.
Reports suggest that a police party was attacked in Chanapora by suspected militants, and the forces returned the fire, triggering an exchange of gunshots. Two militants believed to be trapped in the attack.
