An encounter has erupted between security forces and suspected militants in the Panjtirthi area of Jathana, Kathua district of Jammu.
According to initial reports, three Jaish-affiliated militants are believed to be trapped.
Security forces have cordoned off the area, and intermittent firing is ongoing.
