An encounter has started between militants and Government forces in the Rajpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday afternoon, a joint group of 55 RR and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about militant presence in the Rajpora area launched a cordon and search operation.
The hiding militants opened fire on the troopers during the cordon, triggering an encounter. 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in the area
