An encounter has started between militants and government forces in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday evening gunfight started between militants and government forces in the Nowpora check area of the north Kashmir area.
Earlier forces had launched a cordon and search operation in the area following an input about militant movement in the area.
