An encounter broke out on Saturday afternoon in the Drabgam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 55 RR of the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF were fired upon during a cordon and search operation launched by the forces jointly in the area.
The operation had been launched in the area following inputs about militant movement in the area.
As per initial reports, two militants are believed to e trapped in the area,
