An encounter has raged in the Zeipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that 34 RR of the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Zeipora area in Shopian.
During the cordon, the hiding militants opened fire upon forces triggering an encounter.
