Encounter Rages in Sirigufwara, 3 Militants likely trapped

An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in Sirigufwara, Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.

Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched the operation.

During the early morning search operation the Militants fired on a patrolling party of Government forces triggering a Gunfight.

Earlier Forces had launched a Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
