An encounter has started between militants and Government forces at Reshi Mohallah area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 42 RR of Indian Army, 180 BN CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police after receiving inputs about Militant presence in the area laid a cordon and search operation in the area.
The cordon continued for nearly eight hours, during which the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.
As per initial reports available to The Kashmiriyat two to three militants were trapped in a residential house in the area.
