An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in Batpora area of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara District.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that 30 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation.
The Encounter started when Militants fired on a patrolling party of Government forces who had laid a cordon around Batpora area.
2-3 Militants are believed to be trapped in the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
Massive firing is on from both the sides.
