An encounter has raged between militants and Goverment forces erupted at Mujgund area of Srinagar outskirts on Saturday evening.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a joint team of SOG, Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Mujgund area on Saturday evening after receiving inputs about presence of some militants in the area.
The Forces while conducting the search operation were fire upon by forces, which resulted in an encounter.
As per Initial inputs received by The Kashmiriyat, two Militants are believed to be holed up in a residential house in the area.
